Monday, April 21, 2008: As a woman once in love with a Catholic priest, I believe that being Celibate does not make them better able to perform their duties. It does not make them special, either. A wife interested in her husband’s career would, on the other hand, be a great asset. It is time for the Catholic Church to make Celibacy optional.
