One Dollar

By beccar

Friday, August 1, 2008: The guy woke me up at 2 in the morning. I was slleping and he said he wanted to know where Lexington was. I told him. And Madison? Gave him that information? And this street here, what’s it called? Then he took out a dollar from his wallet and told me: Here, buy yourself food with this. Are we living in the 1930s? I’d like to know because what could I possibly buy with adollar these days–something nourishing, something that will hit the spot? The guy did not offend me. He offended himself.
