Carly Smithson

Thursday, April 24, 2008: It was a shock and a surprise to see Carly Smithson get eliminated from American Idol last night. I feel that she has a truly great voice and she is a very honest person, too. If I knew her, I would tell her how right she is to say that the road to success in the arts is very thorny. I don’t believe that she is pulling out the victim card with this comment. It is the plain truth and more people should acknowledge this fact.
