Somebody’s Couch

Somebody’s Couch She lived on somebody’s couch. It was not her own couch. She lost that sometime ago. She just borrowed this new couch for the night. Outside it was very cold and the wind blew hard. The chilly air slashed the skin on her face when she walked down the streets. Her thoughts turned to the couch. It offered some sort of shelter, however briefly that may have been.
