Tourist

Tourist

“Do you want?” The man holding the coins in his hand looked at her. She had been going through her stuff on the sidewalk. The heavier of the 2 suitcases was by her left leg. If he hadn’t tapped her gently on the shoulder she wouldn’t have noticed him. “Oh, yes, thank you, sir,” she told him. Her eyes were large; they were surprised by something. Someone was with the man. She couldn’t tell if it was his wife or sister. The couple nodded and walked towards the avenue. She continued with her task.

Good writing. Amazing example of how people interact with strangers everyday.
